Each year the best runners, jumpers, and throwers in the country converge at the VA Showcase in Virginia Beach. This year the VA Showcase was loaded with talent from 24 different states and Jamaica.  Our Cougars turned in outstanding performances amongst the best.  Our very own Cole Boone is the top 1000m runner with the current US #1 time and the US #4 time in history!

Aiden Moore qualified for the invitational shot put and finished 11th overall in a loaded field.
Aiden Moore securely holds first place in VHSL Class 3. Anius Slaughter and Chris Hayden also had personal best performances in the shot put throwing 43’-5.75” and 42’-7.25”respectively.

Sprinters Tanner Toney, Kaleb Sartin and Johnny Anderson all raced personal bests in the 55m where 451 athletes toed the line.

The 4x200m relay team of Kaleb Sartin, Bryant Nottingham, Johnny Anderson, and Tanner Toney punched their ticket to the state championship with a relay time of 1:35.17.

Tanner Linkous also competed in the stacked field of over 500 athletes in the 1000m.
